FAQ

Frequently asked questions about our smart follow system to help you quickly understand the product and integration options

ZITO Robotics' golf cart auto-follow solution leverages 7.9GHz UWB radar and FOC motor control technology. When a user wears a UWB tag, the base station mounted on the cart detects the tag's position in real time. The main controller drives the BLDC motor using FOC algorithms based on distance and angle data, enabling the cart to automatically follow the golfer. The system delivers fast response times and smooth tracking angles, supporting hands-free operation so golfers can focus on their swing and walk without pushing the cart. Its modular design allows quick integration into various golf cart chassis, with OEM customization options, making it an ideal choice for courses looking to enhance the guest experience.
ZITO Robotics' UWB follow system operates at 7.9GHz, with a maximum working distance of 80 meters and an effective follow range of 3–30 meters in typical scenarios. Distance accuracy is better than ±10 cm, angle accuracy is ±5°, and static fluctuation stays below 2°. The system supports multi-target recognition and tracking with strong anti-interference, ensuring stable follow performance even in complex outdoor environments. Integrated with FOC motor control and UWB positioning, it delivers fast response and smooth motion trajectories. Whether for golf carts, smart wheelchairs, or follow luggage, it provides a precise and reliable auto-follow experience that meets strict requirements for positioning accuracy and response speed across diverse applications.
The ZITO Robotics Follow System features a modular design built for rapid integration into existing vehicle platforms. Key components include the main controller, UWB base station, co-control board, display board, and remote control—five modules that adapt flexibly to various vehicle types. Integration typically involves mounting the UWB base station antenna and main controller on the vehicle chassis and connecting to the existing motor drive system. For BLDC motors, our FOC motor controller connects directly; for other motor types, we provide a co-control board for signal conversion. Structural changes are minimal, requiring no major chassis redesign, and most vehicles can be integrated and debugged within 1-2 weeks. We supply full technical documentation and integration support to help manufacturers quickly deploy auto-follow functionality.
ZITO Robotics offers flexible order quantities. Our standard module solution requires a minimum of 10 sets, ideal for small-batch trials and validation. OEM customization begins at 50 sets and can be tailored to your needs. For timelines: standard module integration projects typically complete sample debugging in 2-4 weeks and mass production delivery in 4-6 weeks. Custom development projects (e.g., high-power drives, special communication protocols) require 1-2 weeks for evaluation and 6-10 weeks for development. We provide end-to-end support—from solution design and sample validation to mass production—ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery. Vehicle manufacturers are invited to contact us for customized solutions and quotes.
ZITO Robotics offers multiple customization options to meet diverse application needs. The high-power drive solution supports dual 450W and above motor output, ideal for heavy-duty wheelchairs, large camping vehicles, and other high-load platforms. It accepts up to 48V high-voltage input. The Bluetooth wireless integration combines a UWB base station with Bluetooth modules for seamless connectivity with mobile apps, smartwatches, and other devices. Users can monitor follow status and adjust parameters in real time via their mobile devices. The single-channel solution targets cost-sensitive applications, simplifying to a single-motor drive architecture that preserves core follow functionality while reducing system cost and complexity. All options maintain modular design principles for reliability and ease of maintenance, with OEM branding support available.
ZITO Robotics' UWB follow system strictly complies with radio spectrum regulations worldwide. The 7.9GHz UWB frequency band meets China's MIIT technical specifications, ETSI EN 302 065 standards in Europe, and FCC Part 15 Subpart F rules in the United States. The product is CE, FCC, and RoHS certified, meeting international market access requirements. Its motor control system has passed EMC testing to ensure stable operation in complex electromagnetic environments. We continuously monitor global UWB spectrum policy changes to maintain compliance across major markets. For specific country or region certification needs, we provide targeted support and technical documentation to help customers successfully enter their target markets.
